Beebe Healthcare is growing, and our Specialty Surgical Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to support high-quality surgical and orthopedic care across both our Rehoboth Surgical Unit and the Lewes Orthopedic Unit. If you’re a nurse who brings compassion, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment to every shift, you’ll thrive here.
In this flexible, hands-on position, you’ll care for post-surgical and orthopedic patients, complete thorough assessments, implement timely interventions, and collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in supporting safe recovery, patient education, and exceptional outcomes. You will be trained and competent to rotate between both units, ensuring seamless patient care systemwide.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered post-surgical and orthopedic nursing care
- Perform comprehensive assessments and communicate changes quickly
- Prioritize responsibilities with strong critical thinking and time management
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety protocols
- Educate patients and families to support confident recovery and discharge
- Delegate and supervise support staff appropriately
- Participate in unit councils, quality initiatives, and ongoing professional growth
- Acute care/hospital experience
- Strong communication, teamwork, and EMR skills
- Orthopedic Nurse Certification (ONC) preferred
- DE or Compact RN license
- BLS and NIH Stroke Certification
- ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
- RN, Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Entry: USD $36.20/Hr.
Max: USD $59.73/Hr.
