QUALITY ASSURANCE (RN)
SUMMARY
The CQI nurse monitors patients from intake to the facility and ensures continuity of care leading up to and f ollowing release into the community by advocating for patient needs while acting as a liaison between the multiple systems impacting the lives of offenders to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population in a correctional environment. The Care Management (CQI)- Registered Nurse oversees the daily care management case calls and site log, to include infirmary placement, COVID monitoring, Behavioral Health patients, hunger strikes, and crisis management.
