Account Manager

Account Manager responsible for leading key client accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing territory relationships. This position reports to the Sales Operations Manager.

• Develop and lead an aggressive and comprehensive sales strategy to support the company’s objectives and business plans, including consistent growth and profitability through new product introduction and brand recognition.
• Establish goals, measure results, evaluate resources, and create development plans as needed.
• Drive field sales agents to optimum performance through the creation of business plans that can be executed to provide high customer value.
• Work with clients to develop sales and promotional opportunities to generate revenue.
• Grow sales of existing and new products by strengthening account relationships.
• Provide product knowledge training to all levels of management and store associates on a local and regional basis.
• Maintain understanding of a rapidly changing competitive environment to minimize threats and capitalize on new opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk, and may occasionally stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
