Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipe fitters for projects located in the Smyrna, DE area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and piping prints to perform layout and installation work
* Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipe using saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and pipe benders
* Join pipe systems using welding, brazing, soldering, threading, and mechanical connections
* Perform pipe layout and installation according to project specifications and safety standards
* Use standard PPE and fall protection harnesses as required
* Maintain a safe and productive work environment while meeting project deadlines
Requirements
* Top-level pipe fitting experience required
* Must be able to read prints and perform pipe layout
* Experience with pipe fabrication and installation tools and equipment
* Must have standard PPE and a safety harness
