Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Cumberland Bridge area to identify a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant
. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis while partnering closely with leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the accounting function. • Support the monthly close process
  , including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports and management reporting packages
• Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and help resolve issues in a timely manner
• Support the consolidation and summarization of financial information across business units
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify accounting data
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed
• Assist with monitoring and improving accounting processes and internal controls
• Contribute to the evaluation of operational workflows and recommend efficiencies
• Participate in ad hoc reporting and special projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of relevant experience or more, ideally within public accounting or a similar environment
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with account reconciliations, analysis, and financial data review
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP platforms (experience with larger systems preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
