Property Accountant (Metro Atlanta, GA)

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000

• Preparation and maintenance of monthly financial statements for assigned properties
• Journal entries and general ledger activity to support accurate financial reporting
• Monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
• Review of financial results with variance analysis and issue resolution
• Support during audits and response to financial inquiries
• Participation in general accounting tasks and ad‑hoc projects as needed

• Financials are accurate, timely, and consistently delivered each month
• Reconciliations are clean, with discrepancies identified and resolved quickly
• Variances are clearly explained and supported by thoughtful analysis
• Strong collaboration across teams supports smooth financial operations

• 3+ years of accounting experience in property or real estate accounting
• Familiarity with accounting or property management systems
• Degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
