Senior Accountant (Smyrna, GA)
Maverick Search Partners is hiring a Senior Accountant for a fast-growing provider of sustainable industrial services. This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of financial operations, from billing and reconciliations to audit support and reporting.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and issue client invoices based on service contracts
- Reconcile incoming payments and maintain accurate AR records
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients
- Support month‑end close and assist with audit documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate aging reports and contribute to process improvements
- Experience: 2+ years in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting
- Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Quick Books, Excel, and accounting platforms
- Detail Orientation: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in financial documentation
- Communication: Clear, professional interaction with clients and internal teams
- Execution‑Focused: Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
