Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role focuses on managing and executing all aspects of accounting operations, including multi-state tax, sales and use, and fixed asset schedules. The successful candidate will maintain financial health, ensure compliance, and drive financial planning.

$90,000 - $100,000 per year.

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analysing account information.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and statement of cash flows.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Handle multi-state tax filings and coordinate audits.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insight to support decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimise the financial close process.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  Master’s or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in managing multi-state tax and sales and use, and maintaining fixed asset schedules.
• Experience with general ledger functions, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high accuracy.
• Exceptional leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise, and manage multiple deadlines.
