Business area:
Mining – a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability‑driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying.
This position is a hybrid role requiring three days in office each week, with the first three days of the month at the month‑end.
Key Responsibilities Financial- Process cash and credit card receipts daily and apply funds to appropriate account in the business system.
- Assist the A/R Supervisor in resolving accounts receivable problems with customers.
- Set up new customers in the business system ensuring proper coding.
- Maintain accurate customer files; keep track of name changes, mergers, address changes and mailing attentions for all customers.
- Conduct collection calls and emails to customers to obtain payment.
- Research customer queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide general accounting and clerical support as required.
- Comply with SMC safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Identify and report any unsafe work practices.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures.
- Take responsibility for personal development and enhancement of skills.
- Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.
- As a back‑up, process cash collections and ensure accounts accurately reflect payments.
- Resolve customer issues and respond to customer inquiries.
- Associate’s Degree
- Analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in customer‑service focused roles
- Strong Excel skills

Travel Requirements / shift / hours:
Typically working in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and the first three days of the week at month end.
Compensation Range: $55,000 to $65,000
