Job Details

We are looking for a seasoned Accounting professional with a knack for numbers, keen eye for detail, and a passion for leadership. The role is a Permanent Accounting Manager responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes.

Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.

Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.

Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Managing and complying with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.

Leading and managing the accounting team to ensure optimal performance.

Job costing, billing, and budget management.

Participating in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.

Excellent knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations.

Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as Quick Books.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Solid experience in job costing and billing.

Experience creating financial statements and performing general ledger functions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and data‑driven decision making.

Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure proper financial processes.
