Sandvik Mining is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Smyrna, GA.
This hybrid role requires working 3 days in office in Smyrna, GA.
Key Responsibilities- Process cash and credit card receipts daily and apply funds to appropriate account in the business system on a daily basis.
- Assist the A/R Supervisor in resolving accounts receivable problems with customers.
- Set up new customers in the business system ensuring proper coding.
- Maintain accurate customer files; keep track of name changes, mergers, address changes and mailing attentions for all customers.
- Conduct collection calls and emails to customers to obtain payment.
- Research customer queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide general accounting and clerical support as required.
- Comply with SMC safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Identify and report any unsafe work practices.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures.
- Takes responsibility for personal development and enhancement of skills.
- Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.
- As a back-up, process cash collections and accounts accurately reflect payments.
- Resolve customer issues and respond to customer inquiries.
- Associate’s Degree
- Analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in Customer Service focused roles
- College graduate (Bachelor’s)

Smyrna, GA
Travel Requirements / shift / hours:
Typically working in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and the first 3 days of the week at month end.
Compensation Range: $55,000 to $65,000
Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship. (
