Are you a seasoned Accounting professional with a knack for numbers, keen eye for detail and a passion for leadership? We are currently on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accounting Manager to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals, where you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
• Leading and managing the accounting team to ensure optimal performance.
• Job costing, billing, and budget management.
• Participating in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, like Quick Books.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Solid experience in job costing and billing.
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
