Requirements What You'll Do
  • Perform accurate diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on GM vehicles
  • Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, and chassis concerns
  • Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM procedures
  • Utilize GM diagnostic equipment, service information, and technical resources
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Perform multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
  • Properly document diagnostic findings and repairs performed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians to ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Stay current on GM technical information, service procedures, and product updates
What We're Looking For
  • Previous professional automotive technician experience
  • GM dealership experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical concerns
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical service information
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • GM certifications are a plus
