Description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail automotive environment. Prior dealership experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Process all new and used vehicle titles, registrations, and tag work
- Verify accuracy of all DLR dmv / DLR 50 /CDK paperwork before submission
- Maintain strict compliance with state and local motor vehicle regulations
- Resolve title issues with DMVs, lenders, and customers
- Reconcile schedules related to titles, tag fees, and MSOs
- Prepare title packets for wholesale and retail transactions
- Maintain organized filing systems for title records
- Support the accounting office with additional administrative tasks as needed
- Minimum 1-2 years of automotive dealership title experience a must.
- Strong understanding of state title and registration requirements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with dealership management systems (CDK / DLR dmv / DLR 50 / Route One)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
