Relationship Associate

AFC is seeking a relationship builder who enjoys and is energized by meaningful interactions with customers, both current and prospective. The Relationship Associate will spend about 10% of their time securing and/or supporting new business and 90% devoted to organic growth, portfolio management, risk, and lot audit coordination.
As the Relationship Associate you'll:
- Assist the Relationship Manager in achieving portfolio goals.
- Onboard new customers and help their business find areas of opportunity and growth.
- Manage short term business liquidity through temporary credit increases and line modifications for customers.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide strong lead generation for both groups.
- Use strong critical thinking skills to assess business and risk situations and work with your manager to formulate appropriate plan.
- Assist in promotion efforts to new and existing accounts and execution of product campaigns.
- Utilize all available customer relationship management (CRM) tools and work queue task assignments to effectively service our customers while developing a more complete understanding of their needs. Review these tools for quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and manage daily customer delinquency needs.
- Effectively utilize dealer reporting tools like Salesforce and Tableau to identify growth opportunities and risk issues. Work with Relationship Manager to act on growth opportunities.
- Coordinate lot audit reconciliation with the centralized inventory audit team.
- Cross train with Business Processing Associate to cover responsibilities as needed.
- Understand and operate within compliance of all applicable laws and codes for the assigned geographic area.

Preference for one (1) or more year of relevant experience. Bilingual in English/Spanish. The qualified candidate will have strong organizational skills and enjoy business development. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and CRM familiarity is preferred. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are required. A valid driver's license is required.
