Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Fayetteville, GA.

• Estimate, bid, and secure construction projects of sufficient revenue and margin to meet the prescribed business plan.
• Initiate and maintain customer contact to enable securements and profitable execution of work.
• Direct and manage the construction activities of projects in the area of responsibility in order to maximize margin contribution results.
• Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements for each project.
• Manage job-site personnel to maintain effective relationships with the owner, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, unions, and others.
• Implement the corporate program regarding loss control and claims management pertaining to workers’ compensation.
• Analyze and monitor actual vs. estimated costs to develop action plans when unfavorable variances are detected. Ensure that an effective job control system is utilized on each project.
• Effectively estimate the majority of work applicable to the respective region. Responsible to solicit the assistance of the estimating department when necessary to assure maximum bidding activity without sacrificing quality.
• Negotiate contract issues and variances and further negotiate change orders, scope changes, claims, and other project issues as required.

• A minimum of 7 years of Construction Management work experience.
• Experienced in Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanical construction.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
• Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
• Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On‑Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
• Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
• Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
• OSHA certification.
• Local to the Atlanta metro area is preferred.

The office will relocate to Smyrna, GA, in June 2026.
