PositionProject Manager for PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Fayetteville, GA.
Responsibilities- Estimate, bid, and secure construction projects of sufficient revenue and margin to meet the prescribed business plan.
- Maintain customer contact to facilitate securements and profitable execution of work.
- Direct and manage construction activities within the area of responsibility to maximize margin contribution.
- Interpret and analyze contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements.
- Manage job‑site personnel and maintain effective relationships with owners, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, unions, and others.
- Implement the corporate program regarding loss control and claims management for workers’ compensation.
- Analyze and monitor actual versus estimated costs, develop action plans for unfavorable variances, and ensure an effective job control system is utilized.
- Estimate the majority of work applicable to the region and collaborate with the estimating department as needed.
- Negotiate contract issues, variances, change orders, scope changes, claims, and other project issues as required.
Salary range: $98,700 – $132,000 annual salary plus a non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.
Basic Requirements- Minimum of 7 years of construction management work experience.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and mechanical construction.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications, drawings, and project scopes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
- High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
- Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
- Proficiency with computer takeoff and estimating software such as On‑Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Effective communication with all levels of employees within the company.
- Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.
- OSHA certification.
- Local to the Atlanta metro area.
