The Admissions Advisor position is responsible for enrolling qualified students into the school’s programs. This includes taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to inquire about prospective students, following up consistently on inquiries, interviewing and touring prospective students, managing enrollment activity and paperwork, and properly completing student files.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recruit qualified students for the school’s programs in a compliant, appropriate, and professional manner under the direct supervision of the Director of Admissions.
  • Utilize only company-approved materials during the phone, interview, and enrollment process.
  • Perform significant outbound and inbound calling efforts.
  • Follow up on all inquiries that have not scheduled an appointment and on those who did not show for their interview.
  • Interview and tour prospective students to determine their needs, interests, and motivations for attending school; understand their career goals and address any concerns that might prevent them from starting or completing their education; assist them in identifying the program that best matches their needs.
  • Provide information to students about the school’s programs and entrance requirements, including the application process, policies, procedures, and documentation regarding admission requirements.
  • Once the prospective student decides to enroll, guide them through the admissions process, address questions, schedule appointments for them to meet with financial aid, gather all necessary documents to start school, and ensure students complete the admissions testing.
  • Uphold enrollment standards by complying with related governmental regulations and accreditation standards, and by enrolling qualified students who meet admission requirements as published in the school’s catalog.
  • Follow up with interviewees who did not progress in the enrollment process, cancelled students, and assist in resolving any issues and addressing concerns.
  • Achieve productivity goals based on campus needs.
  • Generate referrals.
  • Complete daily activity reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all business records and information.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Competencies, and

Qualifications:
  • At minimum, the candidate should have attained the highest degree level the campus offers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using a personal/laptop computer and standard office equipment.
  • Competent in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and web-based platforms.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Upbeat, professional, and a collaborative team player.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Highly dependable, adaptable, empathetic, and self‑aware.
  • Excellent time‑management and task‑prioritization skills; able to thrive in a fast‑paced and detail‑oriented environment.
  • Able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even under pressure or in stressful situations.
  • Willing and able to work flexible schedules—including day, evening, and weekend hours—as needed to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Prior experience in admissions or a sales‑related role is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner with students, staff, vendors, and external partners.
