HVAC Mechanical Project Manager

Kenimer & Knox Mechanical is hiring a HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to join our Mission Critical team in the metro Atlanta region.

Kenimer & Knox Mechanical LLC is a mechanical contracting firm that specializes in Preconstruction, Construction, and Renovation in the healthcare, mission critical, industrial, and higher education in the Southeast and South-Central Regions. Our organization is focused on delivering all project deliverables required for success including Safety, QA/QC, Project Management, Field Installation, VDC/BIM, Prefabrication, and Project Completion.

• Solidify & build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Invoicing
• Scheduling and projecting required labor
• Managing the submittal and closeout process
• Project coordination including RFIs and coordination drawings
• Manage and successfully close construction contracts within the gross margins established by management
• Budgeting and cost control
• Develops and delivers project related client presentations
• Proactively pursues additional knowledge in related disciplines by attending available in house and external training
• Actively participates in meetings, initiatives, and projects that support firm-wide goals
• Meets technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary and client service objectives for each project
• May periodically act as QC reviewer on projects

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to present concepts to various audiences
• Ability to successfully work independently
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or Construction Management, or 3 to 5 years of field experience in mechanical construction – HVAC mechanical and/or plumbing only
• Revit, Auto Cad, Trimble, and MS Office a plus
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 4 yrs verifiable Project Management experience working in the areas of HVAC Mechanical and Plumbing.
