Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee‑owned organization as an entry‑level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Fayetteville, GA. The role serves as a launchpad for future leaders and offers hands‑on experience in project management and estimating.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct safety meetings
- Create and manage punch lists
- Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
- Prepare RFIs and submittals
- Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
- Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
- Support implementation of the job schedule
- Coordinate warranties and O&M
- Coordinate material purchase orders and invoicing
Salary range: $77,300 annual salary plus a non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program. This position is safety‑sensitive. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Please be advised that the office will relocate to Smyrna, GA, in June 2026.
Basic Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills through technical job functions and apply them as taught
- Strong customer service skills and relationship‑building abilities
- Critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Motivated self‑starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Works well under pressure and deadlines
- OSHA certifications
- Willingness to travel/relocate based on project needs
