Plumbing Designer
A Plumbing Designer to utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create designs for plumbing systems on commercial projects.
Required- Associates degree or technical drafting certification
- 7+ years’ experience as a plumbing designer working on commercial projects
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices
- Proficiency using AutoCAD
- Proficiency using Revit
- BIM Coordination experience
- Design and layout of engineering drawings within the Plumbing and Fire Protection specialties.
- Preparation of complete Plumbing and Fire Protection calculations including water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing.
- Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, domestic water distribution systems and natural gas distribution systems.
- Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties and equipment.
- Design and select fire protection systems and equipment.
Pay Range: $33.65/hr.
- $50/hr.
