Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Service Center (TSC) Engineer to support in-house molding operations within a technical service environment. This role focuses on hands-on process support, equipment troubleshooting, mold trials, and continuous improvement initiatives related to injection stretch blow molding and injection molding systems. The ideal candidate enjoys technical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $55,000–$75,000 (commensurate with experience). Benefits Package Includes: 100% employer-paid employee benefits, 70% employer contribution for family and children.
- Support day-to-day activities within the Technical Service Center molding section
- Assist with new mold trials, process development, validation, and optimization
- Set up and support molding machines, molds, and ancillary equipment
- Document molding trials, processes, and maintenance activities
- Diagnose and repair molding machinery and molds in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Participate in mold design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment through 5S practices
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment
- Track inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock
- Prepare clear and organized daily and project-based technical reports
- Provide technical guidance on safe equipment operation and maintenance
- Collaborate with internal service, sales, and design teams to resolve technical issues
- Deliver professional, customer-focused technical support
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- 1–2 years of experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) machines OR 2–3 years of experience with injection molding in the plastics industry
- Strong understanding of polymer materials and mold design fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret operating manuals and technical schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, analog, and digital circuits
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
- Ability to travel up to 10–20% as required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering
