Engineered Solutions of Georgia is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on role that combines engineering expertise with field inspections, customer interaction, and collaboration with operations teams.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving real-world structural problems, working directly with customers, and seeing projects through from evaluation to completion. You'll play a critical role in diagnosing structural issues, designing repair solutions, supporting construction teams, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and building codes.
As a design‑build contractor, ESOG specializes in deep foundations, tiebacks, slope stabilization, sinkhole remediation, framing repairs, load‑bearing wall modifications, and other structural solutions.
What You'll Do- Conduct structural and foundation inspections for residential and commercial properties
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and recommendations
- Diagnose settlement, structural, and waterproofing issues
- Design repair solutions and provide engineering calculations
- Prepare and review drawings and plans utilizing AutoCAD
- Create shop drawings, submittals, and as‑built documentation
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and production teams throughout project execution
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and engineering standards
- Serve as a technical resource for customers and internal teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or ability to obtain Georgia licensure
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in structural design, inspections, rehabilitation, or repair
- Strong understanding of IBC, IRC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and related codes and standards
- Experience conducting field inspections and evaluating structural issues
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Experience with foundation repair or geotechnical projects
- Experience working directly with homeowners, contractors, and project teams
You'll work on unique and challenging projects involving:
- Helical and Push Piers
- Anchors and Tiebacks
- Compaction Grouting
- Shotcrete Applications

This position supports projects throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area and commercial projects across the Southeast. Overnight travel is generally not required.
