Immediate opening for a VDC Coordinator in metro Atlanta.

Our client is a leading electronical contracting firm that has an immediate need for a VDC Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this role will have started their career as a commercial electrician and transitioned into a CAD role, or someone with direct experience performing modeling work for a commercial electrical contracting firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to follow direction from VDC Managers and Project Leads to model all electrical components in Revit.
• Develop and maintain detailed Electrical models in Revit based on the Contract Drawings, Specifications and NEC requirements.
• Coordinate electrical systems with all other trade partners using Navisworks and Autodesk Forma.
• Create highly detailed shop, install and prefabrication drawings for field and prefab use.
• Maintain accurate as-built models throughout the life of the project.

Required

• 2 plus years of modeling experience with Revit
• Experience with modular construction and prefabrication processes
• Proficient in modeling electrical systems including conduit, equipment, supports, and related components in Revit
