R&D Senior Accountant

We are seeking a temporary resource for an approximate 6–9 month engagement to support the preparation of accounting and finance results for a potential acquisition that will operate on a standalone basis post‑acquisition.

The role is expected to be full-time. The role will be considered hybrid with two days per week in the Smyrna, GA office. The selected individual will be responsible for managing and executing assigned projects, collaborating with internal and acquiree teams, ensuring deliverables meet company standards, and maintaining compliance with companies values and policies. Responsibilities may also include data analysis, reporting, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving to support organizational goals.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines while supporting remote operations of the acquiree
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Experience working with large data sets and mapping results from one system to another
• Net Suite experience considered a strong plus
• R&D finance process experience considered a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, preferably with US GAAP knowledge
• Based in the Atlanta Metropolitan area and able to be in the Smyrna, Georgia office twice a week
