Test Technician

Our Client, a Property and Casualty Insurance company, is looking for a Test Technician for their Smyrna, GA location.

• The Hardware Test Technician supports engineering and quality teams by executing hardware tests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring equipment is configured and maintained for accurate and efficient product validation.
• Perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting according to engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve hardware issues and support product improvements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment, fixtures, and testing environments.
• Document test results, defects, and observations in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in root cause analysis and provide recommendations to improve hardware reliability.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of equipment and components.
• Support daily test lab operations, inventory management, and equipment readiness.

• Hands on experience with hardware testing, electronics troubleshooting, or technician work (preferably in IoT, water technology, or industrial systems).
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and similar test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical documentation, and test procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting test results and collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite in a lab environment and handle repetitive physical tasks (lifting, assembling, testing components).

  3–5 years of relevant hands on experience in hardware testing, electronics technician roles, or related fields.
