Job Description

The Georgia Tech Research Institute's Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) is currently seeking students to assist research engineers with modeling and simulation of radar systems for the purposes of tracking air and space targets. Students should be interested in learning about radar systems and missile guidance.

Job Duties
  • Produce MATLAB code as directed to perform modeling and simulation of radar and missile systems.
  • Develop automated testing utilities to assist in detection of regressions and potential errors in new code.
  • Develop tools using MATLAB to assist in analysis of air and space target tracking applications.
Required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Student assistant/research assistant.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university.
  • 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in MATLAB, C++, C, or Fortran.
  • Familiarity with version control and continuous integration tools and principles.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas.
Hours per Week

10–20 hours per week.

Due to our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position are required to be U.S. citizens.
