Registered Nurse

Job Description – Registered Nurse Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Recovery Place, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing assessments, monitor client vitals and observe the self-administration of client medication. Candidates will also assist a doctor during client appointments and provide medical and lifestyle education for clients. Candidates will also be responsible for performing other nursing, clerical, and referral functions as assigned by supervision.

• Performs Nursing Assessments
• Provides clients with Medical and Lifestyle education
• Completes administrative functions and Acts as Medical Records Custodian
• Completes Insurance authorizations for Detox residents
• Acts as liaison for Medical Students and Family Practice Interns
• Maintains Knowledge of current policies, laws, trends, and development in the field
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned by supervision

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Aptitude at maintaining confidentiality
• Proficiency with office equipment including but not limited to facsimile, copier, multi-line phone system
