We design and build high-end outdoor environments - from resort-style pool and patio installations to complete property transformations - for discerning homeowners who expect excellence at every step.

Our projects start at $50,000 and regularly scale into the hundreds of thousands. We're locally owned, community-rooted, and built on a reputation that earns repeat business and referrals. We operate under the Five Traks Venture Studio, which gives our team access to best-in-class systems, marketing, and operational support that most companies our size simply don't have.

The Role

We're looking for a driven, polished Business Development Representative to join our sales team and own the full client acquisition journey. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, running a disciplined pipeline, and converting qualified prospects into long-term clients.

You’ll work within a proven sales process supported by Hub Spot CRM, Builder Trend, and a team of experienced project professionals behind you. Your job is to be the first impression MLC makes – and make it a great one.

The right candidate will have a clear path to $1.5M or more in annual closed revenue. We've built the infrastructure to support that – all we need is the right person to run it.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full sales pipeline from initial inquiry through signed agreement
  • Conduct discovery calls and in-person consultations to understand client goals and qualify opportunities
  • Guide prospects through our proposal process and facilitate expert-led technical presentations
  • Maintain a clean, current CRM with accurate pipeline data, activity logs, and follow-up cadences
  • Execute a structured follow-up process that keeps MLC top of mind without being pushy
  • Coordinate a seamless handoff from sales to production at project kickoff
  • Re-engage clients post-project to ensure satisfaction, collect referrals, and identify future opportunities
  • Represent Maxwell Landscape Construction at community events, partner engagements, and networking opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience – home services, luxury residential, construction, or real estate strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a high-ticket environment
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms – Hub Spot experience is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – you build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and follow through consistently
  • Highly organized and self‑managed – you run your own pipeline without being chased
  • Team‑oriented mindset – you know when to bring in the expert and how to make that handoff seamless
  • Polished, professional presence – you can sit across the table from a $500K client and inspire confidence
  • Atlanta‑based with reliable availability for field consultations and site meetings
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $40,000/year
  • 4% commission on all closed revenue
  • OTE: $80,000 – $100,000 based on target performance – uncapped above that
