Job Overview
Sandvik Mining is seeking a Parts & Services Regional Sales Manager for the U.S. region. The role leads a front‑line sales team and directly drives Parts & Services (P&S) revenue across U.S. regions (excluding NV/UT). The manager executes national sales strategies, converts opportunities into orders, and ensures a customer‑focused approach to generate new business and strengthen relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coach a regional team of ~5 PSSRs, driving execution of the national sales strategy and portfolio growth.
- Own and drive regional P&S revenue, growth, and profitability.
- Ensure pipeline creation, progression, and conversion to closed orders.
- Develop structured account plans across the region and drive retention and share‑of‑wallet growth.
- Maintain strong field presence, customer engagement, and ensure compliance with commercial and safety standards.
- Serve as the regional champion for Machine Rebuilds and Components portfolios, supporting the Product Manager on Rock Drills execution.
- Drive disciplined account and opportunity management, aligning with Category Managers and cross‑functional teams.
- Maintain CRM discipline and use tools such as Salesforce for accurate reporting.
- Support the product development cycle through customer insights and market feedback.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in mining parts and services sales.
- Minimum 2 years of sales management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading front‑line sales teams, driving portfolio growth, and converting opportunities into revenue.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strategic mindset with growth accountability for assigned product portfolios.
- Analytical and business performance monitoring capabilities.
- Deep understanding of customer operations and mining processes.
- Experience in aftermarket mining or OEM environments.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and divisions.
Extensive travel required across Nevada and Utah, with possible visits to Arizona.
Compensation$125,000 to $135,000 base salary with an additional bonus plan.
