In a Sales Engineer job you'll be responsible for:- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and advising clients on solutions.
- Directing sales forecasting, reviewing market analyses, pricing schedules, and sales statistics.
- Collaborating with manufacturing, HQ, and internal teams to meet customer requirements and book orders.
- Building strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular meetings and trade events.
- Monitoring competitor activities and providing input for product research and development.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college/university, OR 5+ years of related technical sales experience (or equivalent combination).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities with strong presentation skills.
- Practical math skills (calculating discounts, commissions, percentages, basic algebra/geometry).
- Tech-savvy with CRM (Salesforce), MS Office/G Suite, and order processing systems.
- Willingness to travel >60% for client visits and industry events.
