Job DescriptionGeorgia Tech Research Institute's Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) is currently seeking students to assist Research Engineers with modeling and simulation of radar systems for the purposes of tracking air and space targets. Students should be interested in learning about radar systems and missile guidance.
Due to the nature of the work at GTRI, job duties will depend upon contract and sponsor needs. Students could participate in the following projects/tasks:
- Produce MATLAB code as directed to perform modeling and simulation of the radar and missile systems.
- Develop automated testing utilities to assist in detection of regressions and potential errors in new code.
- Develop tools using MATLAB to assist in analysis of air and space target tracking applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university
- 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- Experience in Matlab, C++, C, or Fortran
- Familiarity with version control and continuous integration tools and principles
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
10-20 hours per week
