An Unarmed Utility Officer is a versatile security professional who ensures safety through vigilance, patrols, and customer service—without the use of weapons. They are often relied upon to fill gaps, assist supervisors, and maintain a secure, professional environment.
- Patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems.
- Enforce site rules and regulations professionally.
- Assist visitors, employees, and clients with directions or concerns.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, or alarms using de-escalation techniques.
- Write reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities or incidents.
