JOIN OUR TEAM AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN! Painting Specialty Preferred

• Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and preventive maintenance.
• HVAC and tests and inspections of the physical plant.
• Clean and change air filters as required through the Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Clean kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.
• Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste from the facility.
• Maintain facility grounds to keep them neat and attractive.
• Operate and maintain emergency power plant.
• Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance electrical tests, as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment, under the direct supervision of a supervisor. Perform various janitorial duties.
• Responsible for keeping tools and materials in good condition and their proper location. Accountable for taking necessary safety precautions when handling hand/power tools and equipment.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. Must have experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering. Must have experience working in a hospital setting.
• Licensure:
  Must have a valid driver's license.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Must have complete knowledge of the physical plant within two weeks of hire. Successful completion CPR/First Aid certification and CPI training to within 90 days of employment before assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Compensation:
