Overview

An exciting opportunity now exists to join Dirty Work Pooper Scooper Service (est. 1998) as a Pooper Scooper. The position is located in Smyrna, GA and serves clients across metro Atlanta.

• $17 per hour to start
  . Future raises and bonuses are available for good customer service, new client leads, efficiency, and job well done.

Works from Smyrna, GA. Must be able to get to the company location in Vinings/Smyrna every workday, Monday‑Friday.

• Must be 25 or older per insurance stipulations.
• Excellent vision and attention to detail required.
• Must be a “morning person”; we start at daylight to beat heat and traffic. Late arrivals will not be accepted.
• Requires enjoyment of outdoor work and dealing with dogs in the yard.
• Good driver with a clean record (company vehicle provided for the route). Reliable personal transportation to/from the Smyrna location is also required.
• Ability and stamina to work long hours outdoors or driving in the company truck.
• Can work a 40‑hour week with little direct supervision, Monday‑Friday. Traffic and weather may impact daily length.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Drug‑free and able to pass a pre‑employment background check.
• Experience with dogs preferred but not required.
• Must read, write and follow detailed instructions; communicate clearly with clients and office. Must navigate using a map and GPS.
• LOTS OF WALKING AND LIFTING.

• Constant mobility: walking, stooping, bending, looking, probing, picking up and carrying heavy trash bags, stretching, standing, and driving for long periods.
• Long hours of labor, including walking and lifting large trash bags.
• Work in all weather conditions (hot and cold).
• Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt, insects, and animal waste & odor.
• Excellent vision required.

• Company vehicle provided for the route (some days require extensive driving).
• Must have personal reliable transportation to and from the parking facility every day.
