Staff Accountant

Salary: $65-80K (DOE) + discretionary bonus

• The Staff Accountant will be tasked with preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations on a high-volume basis while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Own assigned balance sheet accounts and perform detailed account analysis and reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting and assist with preparation of monthly management reporting packages.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors and assist with audit requests.
• Identify and champion process improvement and automation opportunities within the accounting function.
• Heavy data analysis and reconciliation work.
• Support cash management activities, accruals, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting.

• BS in Accounting required.
• 1-3 years of public accounting OR 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience OR a mix of public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accustomed to working with large volumes of financial data.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• CPA eligibility or plans to pursue certification is a plus.
