SLP Position
SLP – Needed long term beginning immediately.
TRC provides vocational training for students with disabilities who are ready to join the workforce. Students must be able to remain independently safe and healthy to participate in training and live on campus. This position is Monday – Friday 8am - 4:30pm:
This would be 5 days of 7.5 hours of work with a 1 hour lunch break. This position will work directly with students and cover other therapists if needed.
One (1) SLP is being sought at 37.5 hours per week.
The SLP will have the following job duties:
- Classroom strategies for processing information, social skills, and attention to task
- Time management
- Recommendations for accommodations related to communication/speech/social interaction/following multi-step commands
- Hands on supports in collaboration with the AOS instructor in the AOS hands on training area
- Supports for student internship sites
Other SLP-related evaluations and assessments

Candidate must be local.
Background Verification
Minimum Verification Requirements - Fingerprinting is required for all TN DHS positions. Suppliers are to provide the correct IDEMIA coupon code to each of their candidates so the candidate can take it with them to their fingerprinting appointment. Accurate background checks are not required to be run by the supplier for any TN DHS contractor.

Manual Timesheet (Vocational Rehabilitation Only)
This timesheet is to be filled out by each Vocational Rehabilitation contractor and submitted to their Vocational Rehabilitation contact each week for processing. This is IN ADDITION to submitting their Covendis Time Bill each week for supervisor/manager approval.
