Operations Management
The Director of Operations and Finance supports the financial and administrative operations of Tennessee Caregiver Coalition. Working closely with the President & CEO, the Director of Operations and Finance manages grant applications and reporting, coordinates the monthly financial close, processes payroll, and maintains systems that help the organization meet its obligations to staff, funders, and caregivers. This is a hands‑on, part‑time role for someone who can manage deadlines, work accurately with financial information, and identify issues early.
This is a part‑time position based in the Nashville office, with a schedule of 12 hours per week during the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During the first three months of employment, all scheduled hours will be worked in the office as part of onboarding. Upon successful completion of this period, the employee will be eligible for a hybrid schedule, with at least one in‑office day per week and additional in‑office time as needed.
The specific schedule will be set in consultation with the President & CEO.
This position has the potential to grow into a full‑time Chief Operating Officer role if additional grant funding is secured and organizational needs support the expansion. Any change in hours, title, or responsibilities would be determined by the Tennessee Caregiver Coalition at that time.
This position includes a six‑month probationary assessment period, with a performance review at 90 days and a final review at the six‑month mark to assess progress, long‑term fit, and success in the role. Continuation in the role is contingent upon meeting established performance standards.
The Tennessee Caregiver Coalition is committed to actively cultivating and preserving a culture of equity, inclusion and connectedness. We strive to create a space that enables everyone to bring their full self to the work and that embraces the full spectrum of humanity. These values permeate all aspects of our work.
We are committed to equitable hiring, training, promotional practices, and policies.
