Machine Operator

NOW HIRING – Machine Operators. HSK STAINLESS LLC. is seeking experienced and motivated Slitter Operators/Helper to join a growing steel processing facility! Machine Operator/Helper
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (Based on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate and monitor steel slitting equipment to process flat-rolled steel coils to customer specifications
• Review work orders, coil identification, gauges, widths, and production requirements before and during each run
• Assist with machine setup, threading, changeovers, adjustments, and production checks
• Monitor line speed, material flow, edge quality, surface condition, tooling, and finished product quality
• Complete production paperwork, labels, tags, and system entries accurately
• Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members
• Work closely with Helpers, Material Handlers, QA, Packaging, Shipping & Receiving, and Production Leadership to keep operations running smoothly
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and pinch-point awareness

What We're Looking For:

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measurements, fractions, decimals, gauges, widths, and tolerances accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Dedication to workplace safety and continuous improvement
