Are you an energetic and results-driven Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to make a positive impact on workplace safety and health? Join our team and support our on-site occupational health and wellness services in a large manufacturing facility in Smyrna, TN. Now hiring for NS coverage.
Responsibilities- Respond to and manage on-site medical emergencies in accordance with established protocols and company policies
- Provide first aid and nursing care for both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses
- Assess employees and deliver early intervention and ergonomic support to reduce discomfort and prevent injury
- Conduct and document drug screens, medical surveillances, and pre-placement physical examinations, including hearing and FIT testing
- Communicate, document, and initiate incident reports in compliance with company, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements
- Inspect, maintain, and perform routine checks of EMS and site-wide medical equipment; report deficiencies as needed
- Manage medical supplies and inventory to ensure readiness and compliance
- Administer preventive and wellness programs, including flu shot clinics, vaccinations, heat stress management, and other health initiatives
- Other duties as assigned

Ourideal candidate will have
- Active LPN licensure or ability to obtain licensure
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- Previous occupational health experience is a plus
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
