Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; includes weekends (approximately 4 weekend shifts per month)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $52.5 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities- Provide expert intrapartum care and continuous fetal monitoring to ensure safe labor and delivery outcomes
- Circulate in the OR for obstetric procedures and assist with interventions such as IUPC and FSE
- Manage postpartum hemorrhage events using established protocols and JADA system interventions
- Support patient-centered birth plans, promoting vaginal birth opportunities and honoring patient choice
- Collaborate with laborist team, midwives, CRNA and on-call OB to coordinate timely, high-quality care
- Deliver couplet care in the postpartum unit to keep mother and baby together and support breastfeeding
- Document care accurately using CPN and Meditech and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team

RequirementsQualifications
- Active RN license (state of practice)
- Current ACLS, BLS and NRP certifications required
- Fetal monitoring certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Comfortable with procedures such as IUPC, FSE and OR circulating and able to respond to high-acuity deliveries
- Proficient with fetal monitoring interpretation and intrapartum assessment
- Experience with CPN and Meditech documentation systems
- Skilled in neonatal resuscitation and STABLE principles
- Familiarity with MgSO4 administration, nitrous oxide, and postpartum hemorrhage management
- Comfortable working in a unit with 1:1–1:2 patient ratios and collaborating in a laborist team model
