Cath Lab Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with variable days and expectation of call.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a community hospital or mixed IR & Cath lab setting, with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience. The position requires proficiency in both diagnostic procedures and PCIs.

• Perform left and right heart catheterizations and PCIs.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide sedation as necessary.
• Scrub and circulate during invasive procedures.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as GE x-ray, Alaris pumps, and specialized tools.
• Document procedures using Merge Hemo and Meditech systems.
• Participate in call rotation, including 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call per month.

• Must possess a valid RN licensure.
• ARRT or RCIS certification is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab, performing both diagnostic and PCI procedures.
• Experience with advanced skills in IR, Specials, and vascular procedures is highly preferred.
