Position: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

$1713.60/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional maternal care within a dedicated obstetric unit. This role involves supporting patient preferences, promoting safe delivery experiences, and collaborating within a specialized team.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor fetal and maternal assessments, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Support vaginal birth initiatives, patient-centered care plans, and promote positive birth experiences.
  • Circulate in the operating room, assist with procedures such as IUPC, FSE, and administer medications including MgSO

  • Maintain accurate documentation using CPN and Meditech systems, ensuring compliance with protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including midwives, CRNA, and OB/GYN professionals to deliver seamless care.
  • Floating to other units or departments as assigned to support staffing needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN licensure with current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
  • Proven experience in maternal-fetal or labor and delivery nursing, with at least 2 years preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of fetal monitoring, obstetric procedures, and neonatal care.
  • Supportive, patient-centered approach with a drive to deliver high-quality obstetric care.
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes 4 weekend shifts per month.
  • Skilled in emergency procedures such as managing postpartum hemorrhage and high-risk deliveries.
