Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Smyrna, Tennessee, 37167!

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Smyrna, TN | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 4 weekend shifts/month

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring patients in a 9-bed L&D unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 and collaborate with a laborist team model including 24/7 in-house midwives, dedicated CRNA, and on-call OBGYN
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including OR circulating, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management (JADA system), and nitrous oxide
• Document accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic documentation systems
• Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities in alignment with individual patient preferences
• Float to mother/baby or outside department to task as needed per unit floating policy

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience

• Familiarity with Spinning Babies techniques
• STABLE program certification or training
• Experience with couplet care and breastfeeding support practices
• Prior experience in a laborist or team-based OB care model
