Patient Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Remote Patient Engagement Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This telephonic patient engagement role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys high-volume outreach, meaningful healthcare conversations, and helping patients connect with valuable clinical services.

In this role, you will contact potential program participants, explain available healthcare services in a clear and personable way, answer questions, overcome objections, and schedule initial in-home clinical assessments with the appropriate care team. • - Perform outbound outreach calls to potential patients identified for healthcare program participation.
• - Educate patients on available services and explain the value of scheduling an initial clinical assessment.
• - Build rapport quickly, address questions, and professionally overcome objections to participation.
• - Schedule initial visits on clinician calendars with accuracy and attention to detail.
• - Maintain productivity standards in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment.
• - Use multiple software platforms to document activity, manage communication, and support scheduling.

• - Pay: $18 per hour.
• - Remote (Prefer candidates to live in the following states: TN, KY, AL, AR & MS

• - Schedule:
  
  Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday rotation.
• - Assigned work hours will be discussed with the direct manager.
• - Performance-based bonus incentive opportunity.

• - Conduct high-volume telephonic outreach to potential healthcare program participants.
• - Educate patients on services and encourage scheduling of initial clinical visits.
• - Manage scheduling on clinician calendars while meeting department productivity standards.
• - Document outreach activity and navigate multiple software systems accurately.
• - 2+ years of comparable work experience with successful outcomes.
• - Customer service experience required.
• - Telephonic outreach experience required.
• - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly, concisely, and professionally.
• - Ability to spend more than 80% of the workday on the phone in a high-volume call environment.
• - Comfortable using software platforms such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Dynamics, and Google Maps.
• - Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.
• - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.

• - Experience using a CRM system.
• - Scheduling experience.
• - Fluency in Spanish.
