** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity in support of location rules, and communicate with staff regarding security-related concerns and/or assistance requests.

+ Support a healthcare location by observing surroundings, documenting incidents, and assisting with directions, de-escalation, and/or other customer service needs as appropriate.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.

+ Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

+ Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
