Position SummaryMaintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing predictive, preventive, and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on production and infrastructure systems to maintain process efficiency at the Del Conca USA Loudon campus. This role demonstrates advanced skill in primary trade (mechanical or electrical) and comprehensive knowledge in second trade. Employees are expected to perform complex tasks independently and provide guidance and training to others in lower maintenance classifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Follow and promote safe work practices; comply with all safety and health policies and procedures.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoot, repair, and document malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Calibrate and program computer-controlled machinery.
- Install, repair, and maintain high- and low-voltage motors, pumps, valves, and regulators.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Repair and adjust input devices, sensors, thermocouples, and related equipment.
- Perform welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, cutting, fabrication, and machine shop tasks as needed.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to identify errors or defects.
- Utilize computer systems to access and document work orders.
- Train and mentor other maintenance personnel as required.
- Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and team members to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED/HiSET.
- 1+ year of experience in industrial maintenance trade preferred.

- Electrical and electronic principles
- Industrial electrical and controls
- Preventive maintenance procedures
- Troubleshooting
- Blueprint and schematic reading
- National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Work order management
- Certification from a trade school, community college, or maintenance apprenticeship- preferred
- Technical Expertise:

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to work in confined spaces or tight areas when required.
Ability to stand or work for extended periods and perform tasks requiring strength, balance, and coordination.
Work Environment- Employees work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, dust, moisture, noise, and moving machinery. Work may require standing, walking, bending, climbing, and using hands or arms to handle tools, materials, or equipment.
