• Perform proactive maintenance and emergency repairs on pumps, motors, and valves to ensure system uptime.
• Conduct thorough tank inspections and monitor system gauges to optimize treatment performance.
• Execute precise line locates in compliance with state utility safety guidelines.
• Respond to service calls to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in the field.
• Maintain detailed logs of all repairs and maintenance activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve the longevity and efficiency of collection system assets.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose equipment issues independently.
• Commitment to following rigorous safety protocols and environmental regulations.

• Prior experience with decentralized wastewater collection or treatment systems.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a Wastewater BNS/Collection systems license within one year.
• Strong customer service orientation when interacting with the public.
