Position Details:
Speech and Language Pathologist
- Smyrna TN
Location :
Smyrna, Tennessee, 37167
Project Duration : 4 months
Pay range : $40-$44 per hour, based on experience W2 with limited benefits
Shift :
Mon. – Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Job Description:
- TRC provides vocational training for students with disabilities who are ready to join the workforce.
- Students must be able to remain independently safe and healthy to participate in training and live on campus.
- This position will work directly with students and cover other therapists if needed.
- One (1) SLP is being sought at 37.5 hours per week.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team (OT/PT/ST) with students enrolled in various vocational areas of study (AOS) to provide supports such as:
- Classroom strategies for processing information, social skills, and attention to task
- Time management
- Recommendations for accommodations related to communication/speech/social interaction/following multi-step commands
- Hands on supports in collaboration with the AOS instructor in the AOS hands on training area
- Supports for student internship sites
- Other SLP-related evaluations and assessments
