Specialized Transportation Services (STS) is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Transportation Customer Service Coordinator to support our operations team.

STS is a family-owned transportation company based in Smyrna, TN, focused on dedicated freight operations.

This role will work closely with drivers, customers, and operations staff to help ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and strong customer service throughout the day.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trucking and logistics environment.

• Day shift
• Monday through Friday
• Hours may vary slightly based on operational needs

• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and service issues
• Support dispatch and operations teams with administrative tasks
• Assist with freight billing and operational paperwork
• Monitor load progress and update customers as needed
• Coordinate with drivers and internal operations personnel
• Help resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Transportation or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in computer and email skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Trucking or logistics operations
• McLeod or TMS software experience
• Transportation or logistics experience preferred but not required
